RideTribeSync respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Information We Collect

• Name, username, email address, and profile information.
• Photos and content you choose to upload.
• Ride, event, sponsor, tribe, vehicle, and business information you create.
• Messages and communications sent through the platform.
• Location information used for rides, maps, saved searches, and optional Live features.

Location Information

RideTribeSync uses location information to provide location-based features such as ride and event maps, saved searches, nearby content, and optional Live features.

Live Location is optional and is activated by the user. When a user chooses to Go Live, RideTribeSync may access the device's location during the Live session so that Live features can function.

RideTribeSync is designed to protect a user's exact location when displaying Live riders to other users. A hazed or approximate location is used for public Live rider visibility rather than displaying the user's exact GPS position.

Users can control whether their Live location is visible to other riders and whether their presence may contribute to anonymous nearby rider counts available to participating businesses. Anonymous nearby rider counts do not display an individual rider's identity or exact location to the business.

A Live session remains active for the duration selected by the user, unless the user chooses Go Dark sooner. Live sessions automatically expire according to the selected duration and are not intended to remain active indefinitely.

How We Use Information

• Provide RideTribeSync services and features.
• Display rides, events, maps, and community content.
• Provide optional Live rider and nearby rider functionality.
• Send ride reminders, announcements, and notifications.
• Improve app functionality and user experience.
• Maintain platform safety and security.

Location Privacy and User Control

Live Location is user-controlled. Users choose when to start a Live session and may choose Go Dark to end the session. Users may also control Live visibility and related privacy preferences within the app.

RideTribeSync does not sell users' location information.

Account Deletion

Users may permanently delete their account within the app under Privacy Settings. Deleted accounts and associated personal data are removed from active use within RideTribeSync.

Third-Party Services

RideTribeSync uses third-party services including Firebase and Google Maps to provide authentication, data storage, notifications, mapping, and related app functionality.

Data Security

Reasonable safeguards are used to protect user information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as RideTribeSync adds or changes features. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently updated.
