🐾 Trails for Tails Fun Run 🐾 Benefiting Paws and Pastures Animal Rescue and Sanctuary Ride Dirty. Save Lives. Four Wheels. One Mission. Save More Paws. Load up your Jeep, Toyota, Lexus, Bronco, Range Rover, truck, or SUV and join us for an unforgettable day of backroads, beautiful scenery, laughs, and adventure—all while supporting an amazing cause! 🚙 Your fearless trail leader will be Wendy Twitty! She promises an awesome day on the trails... and hopes she doesn't earn the nickname "Turnaround Twitty!" 🤣 (If you know... you know!) Following Wendy is always an adventure! 📅 Event Details Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026 Because of one of our great sponsors we will have bagels, donuts and bottles of water for participants at the check-in table. (while supplies last) 📍 Meet Location: Lake Springfield Boat House Parking Lot 2312 Lake Springfield Park Rd, Springfield, MO 65804 Check-In Begins: 8:00 AM Drivers Meeting: 8:45 AM Departure: 9:00 AM Sharp Finish: Approximately 1:00 PM Ending Location: Ozark Lowe's Parking Lot 💲 Registration $40 charitable donation per vehicle ✔️ Every dollar raised goes directly to Paws and Pastures Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. When you arrive, stop by the Check-In Table to make your donation. Please bring: 💵 Exact cash if possible (to help speed up check-in) OR 📱 Venmo is accepted! Everyone riding in your vehicle will receive a Door Prize Ticket! Throughout the ride we'll stop several times to hand out our famous Semi Fabulous Door Prizes! 🎉 Additional donations are always appreciated and will go directly to helping the animals. 🚙 Who Can Attend? Everyone is welcome! Bring your: ✅ Jeep ✅ Toyota ✅ Lexus ✅ Range Rover ✅ Truck ✅ SUV 4x4 is recommended due to the trail conditions. 🌲 What to Expect This approximately 60-mile scenic fun run includes a little bit of everything! You'll experience: 💦 Water crossings 🪨 Small rocks 🌿 Gravel roads 🌄 Hills 🚜 Dirt roads 💧 Mud puddles 🛣️ A little pavement …and yes… The legendary Lookout Road! (Okay... maybe not world famous... but definitely one of our favorite roads!) 🐶 Dogs Welcome! Well-behaved dogs are absolutely welcome! In fact... 🐾 Every good pup attending will receive a special surprise gift! (while supplies last) 👕 Event T-Shirts A limited number of official event T-shirts will be available for purchase at the Check-In Table on the morning of the event. Once they're gone... they're gone! 📻 Trail Communications If you have a GMRS radio, bring it! We'll be using: Channel 15 (No radio? No worries—you can still join the fun!) ✔️ Please Bring ⛽ A full tank of gas 🥤 Drinks 🥪 Snacks 📻 GMRS Radio (if you have one) 😄 Your sense of adventure! Paws and Pastures Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is not responsible for any vehicle damage, personal injury, towing, recovery expenses, or other incidents that may occur during the event. Please drive responsibly, respect private property, and help us leave every trail cleaner than we found it.
